Tuesday I got 5 updates, mostly security. Tonight, out of nowhere, I got the
Dec. malicious tool update...KB890830.

Anyone else get this strange batch of updates? Normally everything comes in
at once, so I was very surprised to see this tonight. JJ :-0

Well, I`ve had lots of updates from MS recently (as posted) but not one
concerning MRT - which I`m still waiting patiently for. Where did it go?

One one server I administer, that update arrived after 3 AM this morning
(i.e. the yellow shield awaited me as I checked into it this morning.)

There's little need to watch for this one on a system set to install
automatically, and operated 24 x 7. It runs with no output to the screen,
and doesn't require a reboot.

Still, it's nice to know I don't have XP antivirus, et al.

This was a weird update month for me. Usually I have absolutely no problems,
but tuesday one update failed first time, then this thing comes in just when
I was going to get to bed last night. Oh well, at least I got them.

Take care all. :-)

Mine came in the following day, I believe there was an error which is why it
was late.
