Somehow I obtained Kontiki with one of my updates or installations. Now, whenever I log off of my Administrator Account, when I log back in the display will all of a sudden flash off; then when it comes back up, it is in 256 color & everything is huge. I have to manually go to display graphics & change it to high color or true color & 600 x 800 pixels. Then I receive an error stating that Kontiki has detected an error to send to HP Support Center. First, what is Kontiki, & second, can I do something to return my login to come up with my settings?

I'm not always computer literate on these names. What does "hit" mean? Can I correct this?

Can I correct this?

Go to www.google.com and enter Kontiki hp in the search box. Hit enter and
you will see the list. How to correct it, I don't know. I presume you have
an HP printer or some other hardware from them.

Bonnie,

Since you don't use Kontiki and nobody seems to know what it is and, since
you apparently don't use it, I would suggest you go to control panel and
remove it. It seems to be some bundled "crap" that came with a printer or
other hardware.

is considered a prarsite go to the link below and type in
kontiki in the search field you will find a few results,
all are spyware.

Kontiki plugged into my system via CNet downloads' interface. Seems
they were using it for a few days then stopped.
