Thanks for the prompt reply. I think I have a bigger
problem. I followed the instructions from the website.
It advised to go into the Control panel, double click on
the java icon to check config. When I click on the java
icon, it doesn't open- instead I get this message:

The System cannot find the registry key specified.
Hkey_local_machine\software\javasoft\java plug-in\1.4.0

I tried downloading the java from the site again, but I
still get this message.

Please help.

the Java VM.
