HELP !!!
iTunes has the option to playback your whole MP3 collection at the
same sound level. That looked nice, but it changed my MP3 Tags.
Windows-Mediaplayer or WinAmp display the next problems:

A - My added info in "Comment" is lost, it shows codes in all MP3
files like:
000000CF 000000F4 00000689 0000088A 00022325 00004E4E
0000298F 00002E53 00022325 00022325
I suppose this is the code for the sound Level.

B - A lot of MP3 (ID3v2 Tag) info cannot be changed at all.
I found out, that copying, the info from 3v2 Tag to 3v1 Tag and later
back to 3v2 Tag, solves the problem. My God, I have to change a
lot!

Is't a trick from Apple?, for iTunes is now the only mediaplayer who
can change all Tags, and who display all the music info correct !
Please does someone knows a solution to delete these codes, or to
uninstall this terrible iTunes sound level program.

WMP 9 & 10 can change enough tags to do enormous damage. You should go
to the iTunes support forums at www.ipodlounge.com if you have specific
issues with that software. I generally find that I have to use WinAmp
and your trick (B) to set tags so that WMP can deal with them, even if
WMP ripped the files!!!

Well that's why I suggested you try the peer support forums devoted to
iPod & iTunes. You'll rarely get a response from any support-issue email
sent to a tech company. You go through the channels they set up, or be
ignored.

You can just click on the link I supplied in my first reply.

Go to: www.apple.com --- then click Support, then click Discussions. but you
need an Apple ID.

I used musicstacker to automatically play and record music that I got from
Napstar and iTune. You can get a copy from www.musicstacker.com



These are the steps.



(1) Install and run musicstacker

(2) Select the source directory; this is where you have your, music files,
iPud or Napster downloaded files.

(3) Select the destination directory.

(4) Select the music that you want to record. Click "Play and Record".

(5) When the music finish playing then you can use the file in the
destination directory with any iPud, MP3 player, or Burn It to Disk.
