Hi to all,

I was assigned, some time ago, the ungrateful role of being the person
in charge with the repackaging of all legacy applications because in
view of the upcoming migration from NT 4.0 to XP Pro and thus take
advantage of the distribution capabilities offered by Group Policy and
Windows Installer.

Most application are quiete friendly with me and let themselves be
repackaged quiete easily (I'm just a beginner, not a professional
repackager).
Some, instead, really give me o lot of problems. These are setups
compiled with InstallShield technology.

Today, for example, I was trying to customize an application using
Custom Tailor (a tool included with Wise for Windows Installer, Ver3).
However, just a moment after launching the msi I see an error message
asking to install isscript.msi because it was not found on my system.

So, could somebody tell me the correct approach to solve this problem
?
Should I just install it (where do I get it ?) and then go on or
should I include it somehow ? In other words, because this app needs
to be delivered to approx. 30 computers, I do I make sure that the
target computers won't get the same error ???

I am a little frustrated because I need to deliver this application
asap but I don't know how to approach this kind of problem.

I am grateful if somebody can give me some guidelines !

Bye
Bar
