I am on XP through a wireless router. I can't SSH to my website, and
the hosting company admin wanted me to send him my IP addres to see if
I am on the blocked list. I went to my net gear router through a
browser
It has "Get Dynamically from ISP" checked and it shows an IP address
and for the gateway it shows one also. I assume the former is my IP
address ?

Aloha surf,

Yes, though that address may change periodically (hence the "dynamically").

Hi
Start Internet explorer and log to www.whatismyip.com it would display a
screen with your external IP.
