Been trying to run sysmech optimizer/dfrag from iolo. Did all they say including turn off sys restore when i had problem went to sys restore and only had 1 restore point from 5 min before. Is it possible to recover deleted restore points and restore to them? also, lost a few icons from desktop and almost all from my programs list. thanks

No, once a restore point is gone there is no recovering it.
