In a MonkeyReview.com exclusive interview with IOGEAR’s Technical representative, Bryan Wells, it was revealed that a lot of the other technologies could be easily migrated to the new USB 2.0 standard. Within a year, our trusty friends at IOGEAR tell us monkeys that about 85% of all motherboards sold in North America will be selling with USB 2.0 enabled as the primary external interface bus.

Once you have it screwed into the case and have installed everything, you pick up the manual and peruse the Korean/English train wreck hybrid language, and discover in the specs that there isn’t a USB 2.0 controller built in. Naturally this distresses you, you know that now, you’re going to be either shackled to old technology or have to shell out for a USB 2.0 card, oh the horror!
