I finally got around to removing NET Framework 1.0 from my development system. Now I'm getting the following warnings after
successful compiles in VS2005/Framework 2.0:

Warning 1 Invalid search path 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio .NET\FrameworkSDK\Lib\' specified in 'LIB environment
variable' -- 'The system cannot find the path specified. '

How do I change the environment path variable?

It appears that your Windows system's LIB environment variable still
contains the removed VS2002's Lib directory setting.

I suggest you can manually remove that directory from your LIB environment
variable (of System variables and User variables) in your system's
Environment Variables dialog:
Control Panel | System | Advanced | -->Environment Variables
