I wrote a previous message regarding pop-ups (not the
normal kind that I can block) that keep showing up in IE6.
Following instructions, I went to MS KB recommended and
reinstalled IE6. But the problem persists. I have used
Winmaid to check my registry and find the following:
URL Search Hooks HKEY_CURRENT_USER and
BHO Hijack HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE ??????
I then delete these items, but when I go online they show
up again. Any suggestions on how to get rid of these
registry items permanently? Thanks.

This is caused by a third-party program (adware, spyware,
parasite)

Download, install, *update* and run these two programs:
Ad-aware from http://www.lavasoft.de/software/adaware/
Spybot from http://security.kolla.de/ (Remove items
listed in red.)
