My computer must be infected. New Internet pages starts up continuously with
advertizing and in particular urging me to download and install
“AntiSpywareSuite”. Warning windows with the text “Windows Internet Explorer”
at the top of frame, also pop ups asking me:
Do you want to install AntiSpywareSuite to scan your PC for malware now?
(Recommended)
I already have Microsoft malware and spyware protection running along with
the latest Symantec antivirus suite. I have also run Lavasoft’s Ad Aware and
removed all cookies and removed the latest programs that I have installed,
but nothing has helped. I am running Vista Business.
Very thankful for any help on this.

Hello Ebbe,

Bad news
AntiSpywareSuite = Category Rogue Security Program

<http://research.sunbelt-software.com/threatdisplay.aspx?name=AntiSpywareSuite&threatid=194595>

Better
Download the Trial version of Superantispyware Pro (SAS) OR the Free version
:
<http://www.superantispyware.com/supe....html?rid=3132>

Download the super-anti-spyware program from the above link, install it,
UPDATE it, then scan your computer.

The best way to scan your computerfor anything like this(spyware or viruses)
is in Safe Mode.

Hit F-8 at startup, go into safe mode, scan, remove problem, then start
иºяmªlly.

Also, try this

In addition to what engel advised, please do go to the C:\Program Files\*
Name of the Application ( there should be an uninstall option

write down the names of the application you see within the folder just so
you may have a record and search the entire computer if you find the
duplicate ( file name / installation date and size ) then and it has no
proper file identification then its at your mercy

just to make sure go here as well because rougware are tricky application
C:\Program Files\Common Files\*....

Also just so to add if youre using Internet Explorer 7, An option is to
reset everything on IE to detach the add-ons / activex's of that rougeware
if there's any from IE. ( Just to avoid any returning courier of the said
application).

Go to tools>Internet Option>Advanced Tab>Lowest most part just above ok and
cancel button is the reset button

Thank you very much for your help. I have run all the utilities but in the
end I am not able to go online. Windows networks diagnostics reports that
there is no problem with the computer's network connection. It also indicates
that it has local and internet connection. However it is not able to send any
submission to Microsoft. I also used Milo's tip to reset Internet Explorer,
this helped in one way. Before this, it opened new pages at high speed until
the buffer ran over. But all the time without seeming to have any connection
with the net. I have also installed BitDefender and even though I have made
many scans both with it and some other programs, it still reports that
different variations of "Trojan.Vundo" has been blocked. Now and before I
installed BitDefender my corparate version of Norton reported that it had
been turned off. At restart Vista reports that yayaXRKc.dll and ssqOgHYp.dll
can not be found. When I could not get IE to work, I also installed FireFox
which worked for a short while, but it has also stopped. Is there a way to
reinstall Internet Explorer?
Thank you very much for any help on this.
