Does Device Manager show that the Intel wireless adapter is working
normally? Is a driver installed?
When I installed Vista on my Motion M1300 Tablet PC, the Intel
wireless adapter wasn't enabled, because there's no driver for it on
the Vista DVD. I connected the computer to the Internet through its
wired Ethernet adapter, ran Windows Update, and Vista automatically
found and installed the Intel wireless driver.
Is there a switch on your laptop that enables and disables the
wireless adapter?
