Hey Yall!,

Have been geeking it up on Intels Uber New Larrabee, well its not that new, but new enough that its not out yet.

In short Intel is dedicated to world Computer domination and is now making proper graphics cards to compete with ATI & Nvidia.

From various bits scattered out on the web it seems that they are gonna stick upto 48 stripped down pentium processors on a card running at 1.0Ghz and have a dual 512bit interface and a magic wand, starting on a 45nm process, ATI & Nvidia are currently on a 55nm.

Crazy people on the internet reckon they might have one in the shops by Q2/3 2009.

So i wonder how long it will take Intel to stop making chipsets for motherboards and to just sell us the board??? oh and some Intel Memory as well.

Anyway looks interesting.

Intel can't write drivers ... Intel don't have a support team ... you will get nothing but a brick wall. Why would anybody buy these things?

I been bitten once ... they need a hole in the head ... if you ever get to talk to a "real" person, let me know.

I'm not grouchy by nature, it takes constant effort.
