Alan,
Can I get you to post the Scan Results that left you without the Windows Firewall? This will help us track down what happens.
a.. Launch the Microsoft AntiSpyware
b.. Click Tools, Spyware Scan, View Spyware Scan History
c.. Click on the date of the scan that caused the issue so it is highlighted.
d.. On the right, click "View full details of scan"
e.. Right click in the text and click "Select All"
f.. Right click in the text and click Copy.
Now you can paste the info into a Group Reply post. There should not be any personal information, but make sure to review before submission.
