Importing Data from Multiple Access Tables into One Table

's Computer Specifications

I'm merging the data from 13 separate databases into one database; both
are Access 97. I've automated it and it's going well except for one
problem: it will not import any client with a last name beyond "S" in
the alphabet. Consistently, all 13 databases, are missing the names of
clients from S thru Z. Any ideas?
