Importing account/contact relationships

I have a simple excel spreadsheet I want to import into BCM that consists of
the following: account name, contact name, contact phone, contact email.

I've been able to import this list on either the account level OR the
contact level, but not both. I have not been able to get the two entities to
have any type of relationship. If I import as an account, the contact
information does not appear under that account.

The reason this is a problem is that my communications will be at a contact
level, while the purchase(opportunity) will be at the account level. Has
anyone experienced this issue when importing, and is there a work-around?
Thanks all.
