for those and update it with the Excel information on a daily basis. I have
tried to do it, unsuccessfully ( Any help is welcomed!!! thanks!

I'm having the exact same problem. The first excel file I emport works fine,
then I try importing the next file and I get an undefined error. It just
tells me "there was an error; file not imported". All the excel files are
the exact same format (in fact, they are exported from a different .mdb).
I've even tried imported the exact same data to the existing table and still
no luck.

If anyone can help, you'd be helping two "frustraded users"!

Thanks! Dj

Make me number 5!!
I need to update my Acess tables from an Excel spreadsheet i frequently
recieve and have tried by doing the following: I imported the Excel data into
a new table (say 'TableN'). From here I made append queries into the tables
using my TableN.
But i still run into errors. Perhaps im doing something wrong during the
append queries and need to figure it out.
But there has to be a better way of moving this data into the table from
Excel...
