Hi All,

It seems like there is a problem connecting IM 5.1 and webcam (any kind). I
install the camera on couple of PC and using IM 5.1. I can see myself but not
the other person. The same goes for the other person. Has anyone had this
problem with IM and Camera. I have a creative WebCam Notebook.

Any help

Thanks

Greetings Joe,

You might try turning off the QoS Packet Scheduler. To do so, click Start, then click the
Control Panel. If you're in category view click Network and Internet connections then click
Network Connections. Right click your network/internet connection, then click Properties.
Uncheck the QoS Packet Scheduler, then reboot and try again. If you're unable to uncheck it
(grayed but still on), choose the Uninstall button instead.

Hi Jonathan,

Thanks for the reply. But how do I know that the QoS service is causing this
problem. Isn't the QoS usually a service between the client and the server?
Anyway, I will try it later on to see if that is the case. If I do that, what
other elements of the Windows am I disabling?

Thanks again
