Since installing this software, I cannot open up IE or
get email through OE. Any suggestions, I am using another
computer to check on this problem.

thanks, donnie

Hi Donnie,
Use the method below which fits your OS version. If you are on XP SP2, use
the second method:

1) (winsock reset for 2k, xp pre sp2, and 2003 pre sp1)

http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;817571

2) (Winsock reset for xpsp2)

netsh winsock reset

enter
restart machine.

After resetting Winsock, applications which have added themselves to the
stack will need to be reinstalled. These may include third-party VPN
clients, some McAfee privacy or network security related software, and
others--check what is working and what is not.

Pretty much same thing... With MSAS installed IE WILL NOT
START - from desktop icon, start menu, or even from the Run
command!?!? OE works OK tho. 3 month old IBM P4 running
Win XP Pro with SP2 & all available updates installed. Uh,
we got a problem here, Redmond...
