This command actually resets the browser customizations (toolbar image, search url, title, windowsupdate url etc). If you mean, they are not resets with iedkcs32.dll command, try this one (without a space after the comma..........) ---------------------------------------------- rundll32 Iedkcs32.dll,BrandCleanInstallStubs rundll32 Iedkcs32.dll,Clear ---------------------------------------------- If this does not help, you may want to delete the keys in the registry manuall. It appears that the recommended fix calls for editing the registry. My question is; Is this a job for someone not used to kicking around in the bowels of the operating system? I feel very comfortable with computers and can readily adjust settings of most software packages. I have installed all my own software including several minor fixes to Win 98.etc. I have printed the articles on the basics of backing-up and restoring the registry, however the fix described on the windows site is not that crystal clear to me.
