HT-enabled motherboards show markedly degraded performance under heavy
load. Disabling HT restores expected levels, according to reports from
within the IT industry."

For those who do not follow slashdot, I thought that this might be of
interest to some of you.

As most of the people know who follow this group know this is not
really new news, it's been rehashed and made moot due to the fact that
Intel will drop HT in the future.
