Hi there,
I was wondering if anyone would be able to help my.
My Grandad has been given a HP Deskjet Printer from the hospital and they have not given him a power lead.

I have looked all over and cannot find one anywhere. I can't believe how difficult it is to find a power cable!

Anyway - fingers crossed!

HP's dont have standard power "leads" as such, they use "bricks" that is power supplies that are bulky and have a seperate plug and connector, as opposed to some that use moulded plugs, "kettle" leads and/or figure of 8 cables.... I have 2 in the shed, and if the 520 uses that same ones as as the 560 series you can have one no problem.... they are heavy little sods, so a few quid towards the postage might be needed (I'm in Northern Ireland) if you can't find one closer...

er.... Right, now what was the question again?

The 500's series use the same power supply.

Thanks a lot for trying to help. My Grandad has just bought a new Epson printer.
I have only just found out.

Thanks for the offer though.
