I am trying to help a friend with an XP problem. Here is
her description:

"I have my homepage set for ebay. How come everytime I
connect to the internet I get the "page cannot be
displayed" message? When I click on home then it takes me
right to ebay."

Her system is a new Dell and none of the defaults in XP
have been changed. Changing her home page to he ISP's
doesn't help. It still does the same thing.

Any ideas?
..

Thanks for the tips. I will probably get together with
her Monday or Tuesday evening. Will let you know how it
goes.
