Apparently when rows or columns are hidden and a sort is performed on a list
in Excel that the hidden rows or columns end up visible again.
I have had this behavior shown to me and I really find that as odd.

Can anyone else confirm or deny this allegation?

Windows XP
Office XP

I've only got XL97 but it does not act that way. Hidden columns sort with
the field they are associated with and do NOT re-appear just because of the
sort. Perhaps there is a change-event macro at play where you saw
this.........or maybe XP is different in that respect.
