Hi. My name is Laci.

I have a GA-8IG1000Pro with a 1.8 ghz processor and a 80 G Maxtor harddisk.
When i try to wake my computer from hibernation it starts very fine but it
does not recognize my cd writer (Sony Crx 140E). Is this a driver or a power
management problem. Please, if anybody can help me.

Is the CD writer recognized before going into hibernation?

Yes. It is recognized, and it works perfectly.

What error if any? What is in Event viewer?
