I recently updated to newest version:
Microsoft AntiSpyware Version: 1.0.701
This version expires on: 7/31/2006
Spyware Definition Version: 5779 (11/22/2005 8:05:19 PM)

I have been using all prev. version OK with no problems and did both auto
and manual update to s/w and definitions....except this most recent ver.
seems to do neither.

When I initiate amanual update, it seems to try but then report inability to
access internet....but cable access just fine for everything else and zone
alarm set to allow ms antispy access.

Anybody have simialr problem or know the fix or what to try to get updates
to work OK?

Doug--sit tight for a few days, maybe--I think this is not an issue under
users control at this point--best to wait 'til the server/network issue is
resolved, and then see how your individual machine works.
