Hi guys and gals!

I've just bought a new iCute case but on the PWRLED cables and HDD cables it doesn't indicate which side is - and +. There is a small s written on one side of each connector though.

Can you help me please.

Thanks in advance.

Rich

White is normally negative on those sort of header connections - you can't damage LEDs by connecting them the wrong way though so trial and error might be quickest

Aye, white is normally 0 volts and the coloured wire will be the plus volts.

You won't damage an led by connecting it the wrong way round.
it is, basically, just a diode after all.

(Ian, was that a typo above, should your 'can' have read 'can't'?)

They're not fond of too many volts though, if you wanna see one go pop, just connect it to the 12 volt rail
