Good evening all
my setup:

2 computers 1 with XP Home the other with Win 98SE. both connected to a
DI-604. Latest firmware have been applied.

I am unable to access cerain website like www.airmiles.ca, www.jocus.com
or www.canadapost.ca. any oter website i can access. If i remove the
DI-604 and hook up the internet directly to the computer then i have no
problem accessing these website.

My internet is cable high speed with dyamic ip

What is wrong here

You shouldn't have any problems if you do not block those sites.
Look at your configuration

Really strange.
I've a friend with the same model and he doesn't have any major problems.
Somtimes just he needs to enter the lin twice, but probabli is the provider
DNS.

Try to reset the router and reapply Firmware. Better download it again from
d-link site.

Strange indeed

here what i did reset the di-604 reapply firmware....reconfigured with
wizard. Tried the website it worked. shut down the web browser re opened
it tried the web page connection refused error.

Disconnected the di-604 reset the cable modem hook the computer
directly to the modem bam the web site worked. Shut down retried ta dam
connection refused error. It looks like once i acces the site once
something is then preventing any further access to that site

Actually I've no other idea than faulty hardware.....
Did you verify for Malware/Adware/Trojan ?
Try to access the sites with their IP address directly
- canada post = 66.110.6.50
do this to exclude Your provider DNS.

not access the internet. I unplugued the di-604 waited 30 sec replugued
it then release and renew ip about 5 times then it cured the problem
been trying on and off since then and all troubled website are now
loading properly.

my only guess is tat the router must have been somehow corrupted
