What am I doing wrong?
I have two at mbs .One 450Mhz Amd driven the other 550Mhz pentium
driven. I have no problem swapping Hds between these w/ w98 multiple
configs (I have drawer setups).
-Now the problem arises when i tried to do the same with an ATX Mb.
I have lost two abit kd7s and one k7s5a. Regardless of my procedures i
have not be able to understand it. I was using AMD2000, either crucial
or kingston ddr2100, atiPCI. It did work fine for half dozen times, then
every time i tried to boot gave me an error, mostly IO's. Tried another
drive with same results. This is using w98, and those drives still have
no problems booting on my AT mb. After several tries the MB goes dead.
What stupidity am I commiting or, are ATXs lame?

Thank you
