Now i cannot playback the edited video nor find the original clip. when i try and play the edited clip, it tells me that that file doesn't exist and i need to relink to find it or something. how can i find my old video so i can play back the edited clip???

Matt, you'll need to ask this question in a forum which supports Video
Studio. Microsoft Access(TM) is a database application, part of the
Microsoft Office Pro suite; this newsgroup is for questions concerning
VBA code as used in Access, not for Ulead software.

Good luck...
