Help with mpg2

anyone know a way to make it work cuase quality is horrible wen converted to
avi....and it does everything but split it up into clips wen i impoort
it....and mpg2 format is the only format my wintv pvr thingy will record
on...help plzizzle

You could use movie maker or Windows Media Encoder to capture the video.
Or if you have an ATI video graphics card like my Radeon, it comes with
software that will work with a tv tuner card, like my WinTV card. There are
several options of file formats to record to with the ATI software.
