help me my computer is running slow

i have xp pro 384 ram 37.2 gb hard drive

problem
had 30.4 gb on monday

now have 15.6 on thursday

problem is what ??????????????????? help ?????????????

Slow running may be down to SASSER virus -
http://www.support.microsoft.com/ has a SASSER fix.

Unless you installed a LOT of programs, I'd say you have
a virus dumping files into your computer. I'm not really
up to speed on all the recent viruses, but I have seen
this before.

Either that or you have a program that is filling up a
log somewhere.

A friend of mine has a 120 gig drive. He had his webcam
turned on one day, and forgot to turn it off, leaving it
on all weekend recording. Needless to say, the free space
on his hard drive was obliterated.

It's the little things we often forget that drive us
mad...
