Hi,

I spent many hours on this and other freeware groups but I didn' find the
item in object.

I'm looking for a name and a link, and about all I'm loking for a feedback
from an user. I found many software (dirlock, hidefolders, winguard,
axcrypt, abicoder, LockTight) but no one sayd a word about their use and
affordability.

Please, can someone help me ?

U.

Here's a link to a forum posting that has, in turn, links to download
TrueCrypt Versions 1 and 2. These versions work in Windows 98. The
newest version of TrueCrypt (4.0) works on newer Operating Systems.

Many thanks Me, but I need a folder locker because I want encrypt some
programs. I dont want re-install them on a virtual disk, it's
time-consumpting and laborious.

I know Truecrypt and very well E4m.

On an italian Newshgroup I read about Magic Folder (www.pc-magic.com) . It
seems to be confortable, You can choose the folders you need to encrypt (or
hide) with only a click and a password.

Someone knews this software ?

U.

Magic Folders is not freeware. I use the plain jane version, about
thirty bucks, to keep my company books away from other users. There
is a more expensive version which encrypts as well as hides the
folders.

I've used Magic Folders for two years. Works fine.
