After recording movie with my camcorder i import them into Windows Movie
Maker, i then proceed to edit them. When done editing and i try to save, the
only file type that i have an option of saving as is .wmm I save the movie
as this and then open my roxio burning softare to try to burn a DVD. In
roxio it does not recognize the .wmm file format, so i cant burn DVDs. Can
anyone help with this problem? The only thing i can think of is if there is a
way to save the edited movie as a different file format.

The project file is merely a data file that tells Moviemaker what is in the
content of your Movie. You need to use the Save to my Computer option and
save the movie to your hard drive in DV-AVI format.

Then open your DVD burning software, import the DV-AVI file and create the
DVD.
