Help - bad floppy - need info off of

You might try my documents.
From what you said, the floppy will not have anything on it
as it needs to get formatted.
most of the time Word will automatically save from time to
time whatever doc it is working on , look for a file
with the ~ symbol in the name.
Don't hold your breath, most of the time when this happens
the info is gone.

Hey all,
Just wanted to give a quick thanks to all who replied to
the post.

It was my wife who had the "emergency", and unfortunately,
the doc is/was gone into the ether. Been nagging at her to
save things to the HD, but...

Tried booting to DOS and putting the floppy in and seeing
if anything would turn up w/ DIR, but it still wouldn't
recognize the floppy. Tried some data recovery tools, but
as the path to the doc was the floppy, and not anywhere on
the HD, she was out of luck.
