#3 sounds like you still have damage from the virus or that a virus is
still active. #1 and #2 could be direct results of altered settings and
files that were damaged by the virus, removed by a repair tool but not
replaced yet.
Have you considered doing a repair install? Make sure your system is clean
first, then follow the steps outlined in this article:

NOTE: If you have an OEM CD that does not utilize the standard XP setup
program, follow the system manufacturer's directions for a Recovery or
