Hi,
My HDD was formated for ~ 200 times in 4-5 months.
Can happen with it something bad?
How many times a hdd can be formated?
How can I verify in vista if i have bad sectors or not?
Thanks.
ps: sorry for my bad english

Download and run the disk manufacturer's test utility. These are usually a
bootable CD image and/or a floppy based version.

You should also test your memory, first with Vista's utility, but memtest
http://www.memtest.org/ will do a more exacting test.

There is no limit in principle to how often a disk can be formatted. In this
case I think you have a hardware problem, which is most likely to be disk or
system memory related.
