Is there any way to change the group policy such that a certain script
can be run only when the computer is restarted but not when the
computer is shutdown.

I know I can use the shutdown scripts in group policy. But they work
both for restart and shutdown.
I need my script to be run only when I restart the computer.

Please give me some ideas.

I suggest thinking about execution on logoff. Then you can restart the
computer by inactivity trigger. We do that with Scriptlogic's Desktop
Authority (http://www.scriptlogic.com/da).
