Hi there

I hope someone can help me with my problem, which is this:-

I have a windows 2000 AD and clients are running on windows XP Pro.
What I am trying to achieve is to write something that will refresh
the users policy while they are logged in.

Here is the scenario: User1 is a member of Group1 which has total
access to ItemA and not ItemB. They log in and they have access to
ItemA and not ItemB.

They then run my code to swap them from group1 to group2, which has
access to ItemB and not ItemA. I can change group membership fine, I
just cannot refresh the policy while the user is logged in. I have
tried GPUPDATE but this does not work. I have also noticed an anomalie
by which it takes 2 logoff and logins for the correct policy to be
applied.

I hope you have understood my problem.

Please can anyone help me.
