I am getting these two errors in the Event Viewer- Application Log:

Windows cannot access the registry information at
\\MyDomain\sysvol\Mydomain\Policies\{31B2F340-016D-11D2-945F-00C04FB984F9}\Machine\registry.pol
with (53).

Windows cannot access the registry information at
\\Mydomain\SysVol\Mydomain\Policies\{F3E4134C-82AC-4CFF-A86F-DEF374750726}\User\registry.pol
with (53).

They started showing up when I reset some disk permissions. I removed
the everyone group. After this problem and others that I have already
solved. I added back the everyone group. I am still having trouble
getting my group policy to work. I have reset permissions on all
child objects. All folders have the correct securtiy. I am running
most all services on LocalSystem except some that have to run on
another account.

I think it is a registry permission that needs to be set but I don't
know where to set Active Directory registry permissions. I have
looked all over Microsoft's Knowledge Base and Google group. I have
not seen any solution to my problem.

This is a Windows 2000 Server SP4 machine.

Again this is happened directly after changing security permissions on
my drives.

Please help!

I reset my permissions again just to see if it would help. I can not
access the group policy. If I try it says:

The domain controller for Group Policy operations is not available.
You may cancel this operation for this session or retry one of the
following domain controller choices:

The one with the Operations Master token for the PDC emulator
The one used by Active directory Snap-ins
Use any available domain controller

I have tried all three choices and none of them work. It tells me
"network path not found".

My apologies, but in looking back to the 13th, I don't see another post from
you or another one with that title, so you may want to re-post it again.
Sorry
