Receive "Snap in failed to initialize" pop up message when clicking on DC
security policy. It's running on Win2003 server with latest patches and anti
virus. Appreciate if anyone could give me a solution. Thank you.

Hi,

The way I solved this was to reinstall the adminpak.msi from the Windows
2003 Server CD. I get this error everytime I try to access a "snap-in" from
an MMC for something not installed on the server. Eg. I get it for DNS when
DNS isn't installed. Could be that the snapin is corrupted. Reinstalling
adminpak.msi reinstalls all the GP and AD snapins. May help.

Cheers,

Lara
