This may be a simplton's question but how do I apply GP to some groups of
users and not others? Everytime I apply one under GP Edit it affects the
administrator account as well.

If ur question is how to apply local policies to all except admins then the
following should help you.

Hi Raj,

I have gone thru the steps given in the article but still
I am not able to apply the same. It is not working

Could you pls help me in this as i have to stop few local
users from installing any software like msn messenger and
yahoo messenger.

Pls help me out as its very very urgent
