Hi
I want to reformat a computer (p3) that has w2000pro and
no emergency repair disk. I cant make a valid one either I
think do to a virus which is ultimatly why I want to
reformat. Can I get to a true dos prompt without a boot
disk?
thanks

No. There is no DOS in Windows NT 4.0 and later. If you want to run DOS,
you must boot it separately.

Use the CDROM to boot, choose Repair, Recovery Console, try
the DiskPart and/or Format commands.

You could just do a NEW install though.
