I've got a question, and please forgive my ignorance, I'm
still very much a beginner at this. I'm having some
trouble. I've created a website on one computer. I know
if I have have Front Page installed on another computer,
I can put in the address & password and be able to edit
the site on another computer... however, when I go to
this site, click on file, the edit isn't able to be
clicked. I checked my settings and FrontPage is set to
be the html editor. Is there something I'm missing
here??? Any responses would be GREATLY appreciated!!!

Thanks!
Michelle

Hi Michelle,

If I understand the question what you're attempting do is not possible. You
can only edit the web site on the system that has FP installed.

I have Front Page installed on both computers... the one
the site was originally created on, and the other one.
(I created the site at home, but I need to edit at work)
Sorry for being so vague! So, any words of wisdom?

Michelle

Then you need to edit your online site or publish it to a local on your other PC
File Open Web and enter the URL http://www.yourdomain.com
Then either Edit & save or File Publish to your local and then publish you changes back
- when you get to the other PC Publish the changes back to your other local
