I see in a later post that you found a copy of StarOffice which is good.

OpenOffice is on the Pricelessware 2004 CD, if you want you want one of
the burners to send you one.

You can try SmartDB here:

SMARTDB (FREE)

With SmartDB you can create and easily use databases with the
following characteristics :

- Each record can have up to 16 different fields
- Those fields can be declared as text or number
- For each record, you can add a photograph (Format BMP or JPEG)
- The records can be ordered by any of the 16 fields
- Seek possible on the first field
- Global seek possible on the whole database
- Each database can be protected and classified as 'read only'
- Each database can be ciphered (6 digits key chosen by the user)
- Filters can be used on any of the 16 fields
- One can isolate quickly the records with a photo
- Each database (filtrated or not) can be printed
- A preview is available before printing
- Each database can be exported in Excel format
- Each database can be exported in csv format (Delimited Ascii text)
- One can import an Excel file to create a new database
- One can import a csv file to create a new database
- One can import an Excel file to add data to an existing database

SmartDB is delivered with several example databases to demonstrate
what it can do and how easy it is to use it
- Telephone directory
- Zip Codes
- Stamps collection
- Great men

SmartDB runs under Windows 95-98-XP-NT

"Budgie 1.6 was offered on Tucows and Download.com in August 2003 as a
Freeware product. Since then there have been over 17,000 downloads.
Thanks to all of you that looked at the program.

We announced Budgie2004 in February this year as a pay-for upgrade.
Many of you have downloaded this time-limited shareware product but
very few of you have registered it. In fact only one of you has!
Meanwhile we have been paying $xx a month for excessive bandwidth on
this site so we have decided to pull the product from the download
sites and eliminate the downloads from this site and its sister sites.
We will continue to support the freeware product but it will no longer
be available for download.

I had read that - it *can* be downloaded from Tucows - I checked
*before* I posted (looks like you didn't).

simple to use db - dbworx (http://www.plworx.com); Dbworx is free.
Much more difficult to use: suneido (do a google search for the URL.)
You can also try store2 (http://home.wxs.nl/~verho037/freeware.htm);
there are more db's at this site. All these programs are free.
