If you are talking about the titlebar text, any changes affect all of
Windows and are done from within the Windows GUI.

Arvin

What is trying to be achieved is the following:

Whilst a query is being run, from a command button on the form, the forms
caption changes to text telling the user to wait & then resets once that
query has run. To make the message more prominent we thought about having
the caption text to change colour. This is in preference to using the
OnTimer event to have the caption flashing or a message box.

Have you any suggestions of any other way of making the user aware of that
message?

Tom

I always use a small popup form with "Please Wait ... " on it and close the
form when my code finishes running. It's bigger than an hour-glass and you
can make it any color you wish.
