What is the procedur for formatting Flash Cards in
windows XP Home Edition?

If you want to format a Flash Card for your camera, NEVER format with your
computer.
Format the card in your camera. See your manual.
On the camera menu, Format is usually under File. You navigate to Format,
select OK. This will erase all photos on your card and prepare it for new
photos.
