Hello all!! I'm trying to access a shared folder on our
small office network, however whenever I expand my Network
Places to access this computer, I get a message that says
that this user's password has expired. However, when i log
onto my own machine as Administrator, I'm able to access
the shared folder on the other computer. Upon checking my
account, I do have administrative privlidges. Another
computer in our office has the same problem. But there's
only one computer in our whole office which can access
this other shared folder, but I can't figure out what the
difference(s) is (are).

Please help!!! Tks so much!

~April~

I assume you are not using a domain/domain controller. You need to check the user
accounts on the server/computer where the share is and reset the password for that
account. At that computer enter lusrmgr.msc in the run box while logged on as an
administrator which will open the user manager console. Select the users folder and
find the user account that is not working. Right click that account and select reset
password and enter the password you want to use. You can run "net user username" at
the command prompt to see account properties for any user entered in "username"
which will tell if the password has expired among other account info. --- Steve
