Folder Redirection

We are having trouble launching some applications when
folder redirection is enabled for My Documents.

One of the applications is Microsoft Journal Reader. When
we have redirection set as \\servername\sharename\%
username%\My Documents, and we try to launch journal, the
installer attempts to start then errors out saying that
the path to My Documents contains an invalid character.

Does any one have any help for this?
