In Vista I can see an image for my AVI, WMV, MP4, MPG and MOV files.
I have downloaded some FLV files and would like to see an image for those
also.
Is there a way or program that will let me see a header picture for them?
Thank you
\John

http://shark007.net/vistacodecpackage.html free "Vista Codec Pack" made by
a nifty user called Shark007 consists of open source decoders and splitters
that will plug into Windows Media Architecture.

After you install that, Vista shows previews for virtually every movie
format. All exotic files, audio and video will play in Windows Media Player
and in MediaCenter ( if you have Premium or Ultimate ) , even your flash
movies from youtube that you downloaded as well as g3p,avi,divx,xvid,mpeg
and whatever is there around.

it wont crash vista. I use it for years. The vista edition is also
compatible for XP.

He has a similar pack for Win7, too which is however unique since Win7
comes with a special Mediaplayer.
